Class A Office Building in the heart of South Meadows is purchased
Reno, NV – Basin Street Properties, a prominent Northern Nevada real estate investor of commercial and mixed-use properties, has acquired 9790 Gateway Drive in Reno, a 40,760 square foot office building in the heart of the South Meadows submarket for $4.5 million. The property, which was built in 1997, is 100% occupied with multiple tenants including Allied Nevada Gold and the Nevada Gaming Control.
“Our current real estate investments are centered on existing Class A office space throughout the region,” said Matt White, CEO for Basin Street Properties. “Our strategy in 2015 is to be balanced in several submarkets throughout the Truckee Meadows so that we are in the best position to serve our clients. The Thomas Creek Business Center will help grow Basin Street’s presence further south in the city.” Representing Basin Street in this transaction was Scott Shanks and Dominic Brunetti, both principals at Dickson Commercial Group.
Located in the center of the master-planned South Meadows Business Park, the Thomas Creek Business Center’s tenants benefit from a campus landscape setting and great views of the surrounding mountains. Located within a quarter mile to US-395, the Thomas Creek Office Park provides ease of access, proximity to public transportation, a better than standard parking ratio, and adequate telecommunication and power infrastructure. The South Meadows Submarket is in close proximity to executive housing, shopping, restaurants, lodging, transportation arterials and the airport, and has emerged as the area’s premier office/industrial submarket.
