Reno, Nev (date June 27, 2016) – Basin Street Properties, a prominent Northern Nevada real estate investor and developer, has signed a lease with Piercy Bowler Taylor & Kern Certified Public Accountants & Business Advisors (PBTK) in its 200 South Virginia building in downtown Reno.  “We have a growing list of clients in Northern Nevada and in order to better serve them and prospective clients, we wanted to open a Reno office,” said Lisa Cross, Managing Shareholder of the Reno office L. Ralph Piercy, President of PBTK, added, “We understand the importance of having local resources and we had staff with ties to Reno. With its economic growth, it makes sense.”

The PBTK team is well versed in many of Reno’s core industries.  “Our professionals have a unique set of skills and experiences in the industries found in the Reno area, such as gaming, hospitality, government, manufacturing and technology” said Cross.   “We wanted to support Reno’s downtown redevelopment efforts and for our staff to enjoy all the advantages created.”  The building at 200 South Virginia provides a central downtown location with class A office space and proximity to many of PBTK’s clients.

The firm’s services focus on accounting and audit (private and SEC filers), tax planning and preparation, 401(k) audits, and forensic accounting.  “We’re seeing growth across many of these channels and we are currently hiring accountants,” said Cross. “We are excited to establish a presence with the University of Nevada Reno and intend to hire interns and associates. “The Reno location, PBTK’s third, is part of the firm’s goal to grow in the Intermountain West.
