Novato, CA (date February 12, 2018) – Basin Street Properties, a prominent Northern California real estate investor and developer, has signed a lease for 5,043 square feet with Forefront TeleCare at 201 Alameda Del Prado. Forefront TeleCare is a pioneer and U.S. leader in the delivery of behavioral health services via their unique HIPAA-compliant Telehealth Platform which incorporates software, hardware, and comprehensive service protocols developed over years in the field. Their current specialty services include Telepsychiatry, Telepsychology and soon substance abuse treatment to help to address our country’s pressing issue. They serve two client populations: Smaller healthcare facilities mainly in rural parts of the country and private practices who are looking to integrate psychiatry and telehealth for their patients.

“We’re very pleased to see a company like Forefront TeleCare join us at 201 Alameda Del Prado,” said Scott Stranzl, Vice President of Leasing for Basin Street Properties.  “The healthcare industry is rapidly changing, and Forefront TeleCare is positioned to capitalize on that.  The new space accommodates their growth and the location provides quick freeway access to meet with clients and business partners and shorten their daily commutes.”

“Our new location at 201 Alameda Del Prado allows us to consolidate our corporate offices and operations teams and provides additional room to grow,” said, Phillip Knudsen, President and Chief Operating Officer for Forefront TeleCare. “The Novato location was a requirement for our team and the new, larger space will provide additional opportunities for collaboration and expansion.”

“With most major insurance companies establishing policies to pay for telehealth nationally in 2017, it created an explosion in demand for our services,” said Phillip Knudsen, President and Chief Operating Officer for Forefront TeleCare.  “Forefront is currently in 20 states, with plans to expand to 26 states in next six months.”  Forefront is also expanding from its original skilled nursing facility psychiatric services to meet larger populations in clinics and hospitals across the country.

201 Alameda Del Prado is a 32,231 square foot 3-story office building consisting of distinctive wood and steel framed construction, extensive glass lines, operable windows and rooftop decks off the penthouse. Surrounded by mature oak trees, the building provides a classic Marin setting while offering great visibility along Highway 101 with exceptional signage opportunities. It is within walking distance of dining, lodging, hiking and biking trails. Near Highway 37, it also offers easy access to all of Marin and Sonoma counties.

Representing Basin Street Properties were Mark Carrington and Alisa Belew of Newmark Cornish & Carey. Forefront TeleCare was represented by Theo Banks of Keegan & Coppin.

About Forefront TeleCare:
Forefront is a recognized national leader in Behavioral Telehealth. We have a nationwide presence and stellar reputation in our industry.

Forefront TeleCare initially developed a service that enabled family members worldwide to visit virtually with residents in senior living facilities across the United States. Forefront TeleCare subsequently developed the HIPAA-compliant service that gave us our start in Behavioral Telehealth. We were one of the first companies to serve the behavioral health needs of senior living facilities through Telehealth and entered the marketplace very soon upon the approval of such services by CMS in 2009. We have a long history of caring for vulnerable patient populations, like the frail elderly and people in rural or underserved areas.

As a pioneer in Behavioral Telehealth, we had to create many of the technical, logistical, clinical, reimbursement and business protocols we utilize in our operations today. This spirit of creativity and our ability to innovate have been tremendously important in our capability of designing and customizing solutions for various kinds of facilities and practices, each presenting unique conditions and challenges.  For more information visit
