Basin Street Properties Looks to the Future, Forming Executive Committee and Announcing Key Promotions
Reno, NV (May 28, 2019) –Basin Street Properties, a prominent northern Nevada and northern California real estate investment, development and management firm has promoted two senior executives and formed an Executive Committee to provide vision, oversight and direction for Basin Street’s extensive business ventures.
Basin Street Properties has compiled an impressive track record over its 45-year history. Looking to the future, Basin Street plans to continue to build on this success. A key element for such a plan is having a strong senior leadership team that will provide vision and direction for the company going forward. “We have experienced significant growth in our key markets. Currently our portfolio comprises over five million square feet of office space. We will continue to thoughtfully grow through strategic, experienced leadership and a dedicated, hardworking team,” said Matt White, Chief Executive Officer of Basin Street Properties.
White announced the promotion of Scott Stranzl to Chief Portfolio Officer and Stephanie Burlingame to Chief Operating Officer. Blake Riva, President of Basin Street Properties, joins Stranzl and Burlingame on the newly formed Executive Committee. The Executive Committee will focus on strategic planning, operations, growth and achievement of company goals. “The members of our Executive Committee have extensive experience in all disciplines of real estate,” said White. “They are proven leaders that make them perfectly suited to guide Basin Street on its current growth trajectory.”
Scott Stranzl has been with Basin Street for 23 years. He has been instrumental in orchestrating the growth of the company’s real estate portfolio and the strategic positioning and leasing of the properties. “I am passionate about the success of our tenants, our buildings and the communities that they’re a part of,” said Stranzl. “I look forward to continuing to innovate and strategically grow Basin Street across our markets.”
Stephanie Burlingame has over 25 years of commercial real estate experience and been with Basin Street for 16 years. She oversees the property management, engineering and administrative departments for the entire Basin Street portfolio. “I am fortunate to manage a high-caliber team that is motivated to provide great experiences and deliver quality work,” said Burlingame. “It is rewarding to be a part of this team and consistently address our tenants needs and exceed their expectations.”
Blake Riva has over 30 years of successful real estate and development experience. “The formation of The Executive Committee is a natural progression of our Basin Street Standards of Service and innovative THRIVE Program,” said Riva. “Our combined expertise and pursuit of excellence will push us to realize greater outcomes for our tenants and investors.”
Basin Street has doubled in size over the past 10 years with consistent and steady growth, and now has over five million square feet of Class A office space under management across Petaluma, Santa Rosa, Sacramento and Reno. The company is the largest commercial real estate property owner in Sonoma County and has one of the fastest growing office portfolios in Sacramento.
“We continue to develop new projects and make new acquisitions in northern California and northern Nevada. We are actively seeking opportunities to expand our portfolio in our key targeted markets. Basin Street has grown strategically and opportunistically. Our disciplined approach to acquiring properties with specific attributes that fit our profile has been key to our successful track record spanning 45 years,” said White.
