Reno, NV (date September 26, 2016) – Basin Street Properties, a prominent Northern Nevada real estate investor and developer, has signed a lease with Aflac Insurance for 7,040 square feet in its 300 East 2^nd Street building in downtown Reno.  “Alfac’s growth is a reflection of the broader Northern Nevada economy,” said Kevin Curtis, Regional Sales Manager, heading up the Northern Nevada regional offices.  Kevin finished his 21 year Navy career at Fallon Naval Air Station and came to Aflac four years ago through the Wounded Warrior Program.  “Aflac does a great job of working with veterans and provided a great opportunity to transition to the private sector and build a thriving business in a region I know and love,” said Curtis. “The DAV (Disabled American Veterans) and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs were also invaluable in my transition from the Navy to Aflac and I’m grateful for their support.”
