Basin Street Properties Appoints Jacob Chaparian to Reno Leasing Associate
Basin Street Continues Steady Growth
Reno, NV (July 22, 2019) – Basin Street Properties, a prominent Northern Nevada and Northern California real estate investor, developer and management firm has appointed Jacob Chaparian as Reno Leasing Associate, effective July 15. Chaparian will oversee Basin Street’s active asset leasing operations in Reno.
“Jacob is an excellent addition to our Reno leasing team,” said Scott Stranzl, Chief Portfolio Officer for Basin Street Properties. “He has a strong finance background, works well with our tenants and brokers and enjoys the fast-paced nature of our business.” Jacob will focus on Basin Street’s downtown buildings of 50 West Liberty, 300 East 2nd and 200 South Virginia. “There is a great deal of activity and redevelopment occurring in downtown Reno and it’s an excellent opportunity for Jacob to help Basin Street and our tenants,” said Stranzl.
Scott Stranzl will continue in his role of Chief Portfolio Officer, providing regional oversight and strategic insight, while facilitating the leasing process for tenants and brokers alike. “Hiring an additional leasing professional is part of our efforts to continually improve our availability and service to our tenants and the brokerage community as Reno continues to grow,” said Stranzl.

Chaparian was born and raised in Las Vegas and graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno with a B.S. in Economics. Before joining the leasing team, Jacob worked as a financial analyst and as a personal trainer. Growing up in Las Vegas, he volunteered in the summer at Camp SAM and Camp Omni, helping adults and kids with special needs. In his free time Jacob enjoys mountain biking, working out, skiing and his dog Louie.
